Puzzles

Small games with a bit of maths behind them.

Schrödinger's Mouse
A mouse hides in a ring of holes and moves every night. Open two holes a day. How quickly can you be sure to catch it?
Square Peg
Every loop hides a square. A new loop every day: find its squares. Or draw your own loop and watch the square appear.
π
Where π hides
Twelve small experiments where π turns up uninvited: bouncing blocks, falling needles, darts, a pendulum, a guitar string, and the Mandelbrot set.
